Lydiard House sits proudly as a celebrated Grade 1 listed mansion in Swindon, Wiltshire. With 360 acres of parkland, ornamental lake, and a charming Walled Garden, you will find relaxing, natural surroundings in which to conduct your civil ceremony, as well as the perfect picturesque backdrop for stunning photographs of your special day. A Marquee is also available to accommodate a larger number of guests. The House itself has many recently restored historic features and tastefully decorated reception rooms to provide a grand setting for your wedding.

Lydiard House is licensed for Civil Ceremonies for up to 85 guests, conducted in the splendour of the House. For your Wedding Breakfast we can cater for 95 guests in the House and up to 250 guests in our Walled Garden Marquee, and for your evening reception, 150 guests in the house and up to 300 guests in the Walled Garden Marquee
